"The Program & Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy combines two components. The
one-year Graduate Certificate program for Women in Politics and Public Policy was developed to
create access and opportunities for a diverse group of women to become leaders in the
nontraditional world of politics, government, and policy-making. The university-based Center for
Women in Politics and Public Policy was developed to mentor women students and faculty and
undertake special initiatives with the intersection of gender, race/ethnicity, and class."

Donna Stewartson - Asst. Director of Women in Politics and Public Policy(R)
with Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton - Keynote Speaker (L)
